TLD

174 scouts who have completed two years with the troop and earned the First Class Rank qualify to be invited to attend a Troop Leadership Development (TLD) hike in July. Scouts attending this three-day hike will receive extensive scouts skills, leadership, and management training. The scouts that complete TLD training form a pool of leadership candidates for the coming scout year. The patrol leaders and other troop leadership positions are filled by selecting scouts from that candidate pool.
