Each year the troop holds an awards banquet and Court of Honor for our newest Eagle Scouts and also those Scouts that have completed Merit Badges and achieved other rank advancements. Many troop awards are given to scouts of all ages including first-year scouts.
Parents and other relatives are welcomed and encouraged to attend and we will usually have 200 to 300 people under our large tent. The bus crew cooks an exceptional buffet barbecue dinner for all to enjoy after the Court of Honor and awards presentation.
The banquet is held either the last Saturday in May or first Saturday in June, after the last regular meeting and before summer camp at Ransburg.
